7.5 tonne driver

Staffing Match have long term / temp to perm opportunities for 7.5 ton / HGV 2 drivers for our client, a leading logistics company. Locations of work are Stanford Le Hope. The work is 2 man crew home delivery with a very secure company that values its staff. Start date for this contract is 28.9.20, this is a long term / temp to perm contract.

To be considered for this role of 7.5t driver you must:

• Have excellent customer service & communication skills
• Be able to work on a rolling rota 5 days on 3 days off that will include weekdays and / or weekends as per your rota
• Be able to deliver items into customers' homes & businesses. Some heavy lifting involved
• Be able to work long days as required

Excellent rates of pay:

• Rate of pay ltd / Umbrella GBP14.50 ph
• Rate of pay PAYE GBP12.00 ph
• 50+ hours per week (max hrs available) X GBP14.50 = GBP725 + pw ltd / umbrella
• Permanent salary circa GBP30,000+ inc bonus + overtime + benefits

Duties include:

Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle, working with a drivers mate completing deliveries of goods to customers' homes. Heavy lifting is involved. 7am starts. We cannot specify what time you will finish.

The must haves:

• A valid licence to drive 7.5 tonne, or HGV 2 vehicles or above.
• A digital tachograph & CPC card
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• This is a customer facing role, so presentation and attitude are essential
