Customer Service Advisor - Collections

Full time hours & permanent role

GBP17,860 per annum + benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor role within the Collections department for our well known client based in Accrington. In this role you will be reviewing accounts and contacting customers who have missed payments to talk them through the different financial options that are available to them and offering support.

We are looking to speak to candidates with experience working within financial / regulated backgrounds and are confident building rapport with customers.

What will you be doing?

Building rapport with customers and going the extra mile to support where possible
Calling customers to discuss their accounts
Discussing a variety of financial options available to customers
Excellent telephone manner at all times
Ensuring company and FCA guidelines are adhered to at all times

What are we looking for?

Experience working in financial / regulated roles
Working knowledge of financial standards - FCA, TCF, Data Protection
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to remain calm, compassionate and empathetic

Hours of work -

Full time, 36.5 hours per week. Successful candidates will need to be flexible between the following times -

Monday to Thursday - 8am-8pm
Friday - 8am-7pm
Saturday - 8am-4pm

Pay rate -

GBP17,860 per annum

Please note successful candidates must be able to pass a credit and DBS check along with satisfactory references.
