We are looking for a Corporate Fundraiser to develop and expand the portfolio of UK and global funders for this amazing Bristol based charity. This position is a 1-year maternity cover contract starting asap.

The experience we need.

Using your fundraising and research experience, you will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including government funding bodies, institutions, commercial bodies, NGOs and private donors across the world to identify and secure new sources of income including contracts, impact investment and academic partnerships. With strong project management skills, you will be an excellent communicator who can build effective working relationships across departments and develop compelling cases for support for wide audiences. This includes working closely with Africa and S. Asia teams to co-design projects that are built from the bottom up and turn them into successful funding proposals.

The role.

The post holder is responsible for working with the head of Fundraising and Communications to diversify the funding base, exploring new institutional, corporate, INGO and other collaborative partnerships.
The post-holder will play an important role in managing funding and business development activities, identifying, and developing funding opportunities, responding to proposals and funding calls and building new programme partnerships to fund our charitable programmes across Africa and S. Asia. The role will also support the Business Development Director in securing investment and funding for the charities social enterprise to support design and product development work.

Working with local, national and international partners we aim to provide innovative and practical solutions. With projects across Africa and South Asia, we advocate for the rights of disabled people and empower them to stay healthy, access education and employment, and to participate in their communities.

What you'll get in return.

The salary for this role is circa GBP30,000, other benefits can be discussed at the shortlisting stage. Please note that this role is a maternity contract until September 2021.
