Production Operative (Temporary)

GBP8.72 to GBP10.63 Basic
Flexible Temporary Staff required for "Ad-Hoc & Long Term" roles in a "Major Employer" in the area.
The Company is a "Destination" employer in the region & requires a pool of temporary staff who are able to be flexible and willing to undertake ad-hoc & long term temporary work covering the various production roles in their facility.
Due to the location of the site it is imperative that you are able to transport yourself to the location due the the hours that require covering and the lack of public transport to the site.
The roles involve Picking & Packing and Line Observation (To prevent Jams/Blockages) you will need to have a flexible nature as there may be some short notice opportunities to cover as well as longer term assignments. Please be aware that typically the roles will be of a 12hrs a day basis and you will need to factor this into your transport arrangements. The assignments can be in advance and take the form of block 3-4 days assignments however ad-hoc opportunities will arise.
Successful candidates will undertake an induction at the location giving them the opportunity to see the facility and gain an insight to the manufacturing activities they will undertake. We will need references and proof of ID as well as proof of address and National Insurance number before we can proceed to completion with an application.
