Do you have a Management Accountant background?
If so, we have the perfect opportunity???
We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant for our client based near Chipping Norton.
The successful candidate will work alongside 2 other Management accountants, you will take ownership of ensuring accurate preparation of monthly management accounts.
You will liaise with site managers to understand and report on performance. You will also work closely with the rest of the Finance team.
You should have proven working experience of management accounting and solid understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
You will have good Excel skills and solid knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage.
Responsibilities -
Creating and posting journals
Accruals and prepayments
Ensuring accurate results in SAGE
Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&L, cashflow and balance sheets for 3 companies
Group reporting of results through a consolidation tool
Preparation of Control account reconciliations
Cashbook postings for all companies & bank reconciliations
Assist the Finance Manager with year-end audit
Skills and experience required -
Excel
SAGE 200
Accounting of multiple sites
Ideally you will be AAT qualified
Experience of working in a Management Accountant role would be ideal
A solid understanding of balance sheets
The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure and in a busy and varied environment.
This is a full time role working office hours, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role will be 32k.
Due to the location of the role, own transport will be required.
