This role - 30 hours per week

Working in the community as a care and support worker you will join our team providing support to vulnerable adults with low to medium Mental Health issues. You will be working with customers in Derby City in their own homes and in 3 of our supported houses. You will therefore be required to work flexibly to ensure individual needs are met while maximising independence, choice, dignity, privacy and well-being. It is essential that you have the ability to travel independently.

This service provides support to customers with Mental Health to enable them to remain independent and self-managing in their own homes. Working 30 hours a week, days to be confirmed, but between Monday and Friday 9am ? 5pm in the main. You will however need to be flexible in your working to meet customers? needs on occasion.

What youll need to succeed

As this role will involve loan working to be successful previous experience of supporting vulnerable adults is essential. You will demonstrate you understand what good support looks like and how care plans are created to achieve this.

As all of the care plans are maintained electronically you should also be confident at learning to use new IT systems at work.

This role is based through the community so it is essential that you are a driver with access to a car for work.
