SQL DBA based in North Yorkshire - commutable from Northallerton, York, Thirsk, Darlington, Durham.
SQL DBA required to work in a large international IT Department. They can offer fantastic training and development and many opportunities to progress your career.
They are looking for someone with an IT related degree and a minimun of 18 months commerical experience working as an SQL DBA.
You will be focused on assisting in Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. You will also be performance tuning and optimisation of all databases and queries that are causing blocking/performance issues.
