Production Supervisor

Are you a production supervisor or production team leader looking to join a thriving production team?
Due to growth, my clients, global leaders are looking for a production supervisor or production team leader to join their team, reporting into the production manager.
The role:
?? Take overall responsibility for health & safety of all staff on site
?? Plan and manage production to meet customer requirements
?? Identify and drive efficiency enhancements and continuous improvement activities
?? Develop indirect and shift teams to become self-reliant and perform at world class levels
?? Lead team to develop new processes and product variants in order to keep our product portfolio fresh and desirable and secure major sales orders from key customers
?? Manage site expenses against budgets, signing off payroll sheets
?? Manage staff and personnel needs
The person:
?? Previous production supervisor or production team leader experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
?? Hands-on leader and strong team player
?? Have a keen eye for continuous improvement
?? Good people management skills
?? Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
?? Demands high performance from self and team
?? Planning and problem-solving skills
?? Customer orientated and flexible, able to deal with competing demands
?? Skilled lean practitioner
