What you'll be doing:
As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Liaise with residents to identify the required aids and adaptations
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans in community settings
* Keep up-to-date written and electronic records
* Contribute to the analysis, planning, audit, development and evaluation of clinical services
* Advise on home environmental alterations, such as adjustments specifically focused on equipment and handling
What you will need:
The successful Occupational Therapist will need to be an excellent organiser who can work effectively within the community to communicate with a variety of internal and external partners, organisations and residents. Building rapport, developing relationships and meeting agreed outcomes will be an important aspect of the role as well as embracing the use of technology.
It is essential that you have experience working within an Occupational Therapist role and will therefore be skilled at making sure residents and communities feel valued.
