Triangle Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Operative to work in a busy concrete factory. Working on a Continental Shift Pattern, 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, with hours of 06:00 - 18:00.

Specific responsibilities include:

• To work to the Company's Health and safety policy by performing all assignments safely, including such tasks as lifting properly, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and following all safety rules at all times.

• To ensure that the factory machinery and vehicles are correctly maintained whilst following the defect reporting process.

• To ensure the factory unit is run effectively and efficiently to use all time wisely, work efficiently, and work effectively.Aid other team members in getting the task at hand complete.

• To ensure housekeeping is to the highest possible standard. Using 5'S principals to keep work areas clean, neat, and free from clutter.Assist in cleaning activities daily.

• To ensure that you work to produce highest quality products at all times. To carry out all instructed quality checks, fill out appropriate check sheet information, and inspect each product produced to ensure quality. To ensure that only products of the agreed quality standards are placed into stock whilst working to keep scrap levels a minimum.

• Ensure all environmental (ISO 14001) policy initiatives and procedures are adhered to at all times, including but not limited to proper waste disposal and hazardous material handling.

• Understand the importance of cross-training.There are many different tasks associated with a team member position.Various tasks must be performed daily and Production Operative are expected to be flexible with regard to necessary changes in shifts, production lines- and departments as required to achieve site production levels within the set budget.

• To have constant communication with your supervisor /management team taking instruction from Production Line Supervisors, cooperate with other team members, have respect for fellow team members, and function as a continuallylook for ways to improve the production process.Share ideas and aid in the implementation of improvement measures.

FLT Licence would be ideal but not essential.

Work can be heavy, noisy and dirty but Full Training and Full PPE is provided.
