Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for up to 20 contact advisors to work for a client based in Caerphilly.

Job:
Work effectively and efficiently in partnership with all Local Authorities in Gwent and Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to deliver the Gwent Contact Tracing Service.

Duties:
Efficiently establish contact with members of the public who have been identified as 'Contacts' that are required to self isolate.

Ensure daily contact is maintained with allocated 'Contacts' throughout the self isolation period.

Provide advice and guidance to 'Contacts' throughout the self isolation period and refer to senior staff when appropriate.

Maintain and accurately update the National Contact Tracing database.

DETAILED TASK PROFILE

Sensitively make outbound calls to members of the public who have been identified as coming into contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19.

Work from a list of allocated 'Contacts' provided by the Regional team.

Establish contact with 'Contacts' on a daily basis for 14 days (or in line with guidance available from Public Health Wales).

Complete electronic dataset that will calculate the risk of transmission.

Provide accurate and timely advice to 'Contacts' throughout the self isolation period using the scrips provided by Public Health Wales.

Support and reassure 'Contacts' in a professional manner.

Accurately document all conversations with 'Contacts' within the National Contact Tracing database.

Escalate any concerns to the Business Support Supervisor or Clinical Lead.

Maintain a good working knowledge of the Covid-19 guidance issued by Public Health Wales.

Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, particularly when working with or processing personal information.

Take responsibility for your own learning and development and take part in any training considered relevant to the role.

Support the development and training of other staff, such as during the implementation of new processes or new starters, by coaching and mentoring.

The post holder will be working remotely from home.

The business requirement will involve working on a rota basis covering Monday - Sunday between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00, including bank holidays
