Job description
Key Commercial Finance Solutions (KCFS) seeks an individual to join the team and support the business with sourcing and packaging of buy to let and commercial loan cases. There will also be the requirement to provide occasional advice to clients on regulated cases and promote our services to potential introducers.
More specifically, the job will involve:-
* Collating and maintaining data base of lenders criteria;
* Liaising with clients, including fact finds, providing information and occasionally, advice where needed.
* Liaising with lenders, including presentation, handling and processing of applications to lenders;
* Ongoing liaison between clients and lenders so that loans reach drawdown in a timely manner;
* Undertaking visits to potential introducers (eg, mortgage brokers) to promote our services and generate enquiries;
* Some compliance work and in particular, ensuring that you and the business operate within compliance guidelines;
* General support to the team and business as needed;
* Commitment to programme of CPD to ensure ongoing personal competency re: any advice role;
Likely attributes of successful candidate
* CeMap qualified or commitment to acquire CeMap qualification within 6 months;
* Ideally some experience in finance sector, preferably in residential, buy to let or commercial finance;
* Good communication skills - verbal and written;
* Good analytical skills;
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player;
* Good organisation and planning skills, with ability to work to deadlines;
* Customer service centric;
Summary
* Long standing FCA registered buy to let and commercial finance brokerage, based Huddersfield, 5 minutes walk from train and bus stations;
* CeMap qualification and some experience in finance preferred;
* 20 to 25 hours per week - spread over four or 5 days; Some flexibility in hours/times can be given.
* Full time equivalent salary and holidays - Salary GBP20,000 plus discretionary bonus; holidays 20 days plus bank holidays; Work based pension scheme available;
* We will provide training and support to maximise the potential of the successful candidate.
