Adlington Management Services (AMS) is an innovative specialist manager of high-quality retirement accommodation with care, typically comprising of multi-storey privately owned apartments. The company is part of the multi-award-winning developer Adlington, which is part of the respected Gladman Group with over 30 years of development experience.
The company is seeking a Housekeeper to join the team within its latest development. Exclusively for the over 65s, Jacobs Gate is comprised of 65 luxury retirement apartments located in Sheffield.
All of the luxurious apartments benefit from their own balcony or patio and owners enjoy the use of a stylish lounge, table service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch daily, coffee lounge, activities studio, therapy room, hairdressing salon and guest suite. The development is easily accessible by car, situated just off the A621 South West of the City Centre, and there are excellent road links and bus services to the City Centre, Hallamshire and Hillsborough.
What will this role of Housekeeper entail?
As a Housekeeper you'll be responsible for making sure the development is kept clean and presentable by completing communal cleaning duties in line with the planned cleaning schedule.
You'll also support the homeowners with their weekly one-hour individual apartment cleans and shopping.
What will I need in order to be considered for this Housekeeper role?
* Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
* Good knowledge and experience of adhering to COSHH regulations
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team, and to manage and prioritise tasks
* A professional presentation and attitude, with a customer-orientated and friendly outlook
What will I receive in return?
As a Housekeeper you'll receive a pay rate of GBP9 per hour (GBP7,020 per year for 15 hours per week), plus a range of benefits including 6% employer pension contributions.
You'll be employed on a permanent, part time contract, working approximately 15 hours per week, with exact rota to be agreed upon interview and appointment. Weekend work will be required.
