Driver

AHF has an exciting opportunity available for a Driver to join our team based in Peterborough. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 50 hours per week, in return you will receive a competitive salary of GBP24,700 per annum.

As our Driver you will support delivery of goods and wares to customers who have placed orders. Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the AHF Peterborough Distribution Centre. To deliver a high standard of competency and accuracy at all times.

Key responsibilities of our Driver:

- Unload goods delivered for customer orders and check off against appropriate paperwork

- Assist with the loading process and secure stock onto vehicle

- Deliver goods into customers home following laid down process

- Ensure goods are checked and inspected with customer and appropriate documentation signed

- Remove exchanged goods from customers home ensuring goods are checked, unwrapped and documented according to laid down process

- Unload any return products back into the warehouse ensuring correct documentation is with goods

- Periodically, when requested clean vehicles

- Work within the warehouse when requested

- Any other duties that may be reasonably required

What we're looking for in our Driver:

- It is essential you hold a CPC Certificate

- Experience of working in a driving capacity

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

- Ability to prioritise and organise workload to ensure deadlines and personal objectives are met

- Ability to work as an effective member of the distribution team

- Manual handling skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure

- Flexible attitude to duties and responsibilities

- Ability to demonstrate a methodical approach to duties

- Accuracy and attention to detail
