Production Assistant

The Company:

A Production Assistant is required to join an established Ladies-wear supplier to various high street retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly production team with full training provided.

The Role:

• Dealing with bookings, logistics and deliveries.
• Ordering care labels.
• Working alongside the Fabric Technologist to help manage customers' fabric approvals.
• Follow up chasing approvals ensuring agreed delivery dates being met.
• Sending bulk hangers and helping with testing compliance's on cloth/trims.
• Management of the issue of purchase orders/dockets to various factories.
• Maintaining the accuracy of systems ensuring that all order data both internally and with manufacturers and customers is up to date and correct.
• Helping to resolve any critical path and manufacturing issues that might arise.

Skills Required:

• 1 year experience in a similar position
• A Fashion related Degree is advantageous but not essential.
• An accurate, methodical and organised attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good numerical and advanced computer skills.
• Bright and inquisitive.
• Eager to learn.
