Street Vet is a multi award winning RCVS registered practice delivering free care to the homeless and their pets throughout the UK. Volunteers are the lifeblood of StreetVet. Without you, we wouldn't have the immensely rewarding opportunity to play a key role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable homeless people and their beloved pet companions. VetFinders are proud to be working with StreetVet to source their volunteers. Can you volunteer a couple of hours a months, if so we would love to hear from you. Please find a brief summary of roles on offer:

Location Team Lead - is responsible for appointing and leading the Location Team to ensure the effective delivery of Veterinary Care for the pets of the location's homeless community.

Vet & Vet Nurse Coordinator - is responsible for ensuring sufficient volunteer provision to support the veterinary needs of StreetVet clients.

Support Team Coordinator is responsible for ensuring sufficient volunteer provision to facilitate the effective support of the Vet & Vet Nurse volunteers.

Local Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for building & coordinating a team of fundraising volunteers able to finance the effective functioning of the local team.

Location Administration Lead is responsible for ensuring the location team is fully equipped at the point of delivery to clients.

Campaigns & Events Coordinator responsible for identifying opportunities to raise StreetVet's profile in the location and identifying opportunities to partner other agencies. Works closely with the Local Fundraising Coordinator.

Agencies & Hostels Coordinator is responsible for compiling a database of local agencies and contacts to enable volunteers to offer the appropriate care and guidance for StreetVet clients.

Technology Coordinator is responsible for all software & hardware used by the location team.

Minutes & Meetings Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and documenting action points from team meetings, events & campaigns, and teamworking/teambuilding initiatives.

Communications Coordinator is responsible for preparing & coordinating a local communications plan and ensuring all members of the location team are familiar with and respect StreetVet's communication policy.
