Credit Controller/Finance Assistant - Harrow

Credit Controller/Finance Assistant - Permanent - Harrow - GBP22,000 to GBP25,000

Credit Controller/Finance Assistant you will report into the finance director and working closely alongside them. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, parents and privately paying students to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities
*Work closely with the Finance Director to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
*Prepare Financial Statements
*Maintain Sales & Purchase Ledgers
*Record of Fees Collection
*Daily Banking & Accounting with Sage Financial
*Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting the debts of company debtors
*Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
*Ensuring timely payment of debts
*Following up payments as needed
*Negotiating re-payment plans
*Responding to relevant client enquiries
*Processing and reconciliation of invoices
*Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
*Managing the sales ledger
*Work closely with the Finance Director to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
*Prepare Financial Statements
*Maintain Sales & Purchase Ledgers
*Record of Fees Collection
*Daily Banking & Accounting with Sage Financial
The Ideal Candidate:

*Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
*Is accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
*Proficiency in Sage, MS Excel
*Holds at least 2 years' work experience in a similar field
*Interpersonal Financial Report Skills
*2-3 years of experience.
