About the role
They are now recruiting for a part time Housekeeper to be based in Chippenham.

Working with Community Officers, you will be responsible for ensuring that their sheltered housing communities are cleaned, kept safe and maintained to the highest standard. You will need the highest level of attention to detail, along with the ability to work unsupervised.

You will also assist the team in reporting repairs and managing the schemes in accordance with their Health and Safety policy, such as Legionella Checks and assisting with the fire alarm check when required.

You must work in accordance with Health and Safety procedures at all times and raise any concerns with the Community Officer while providing a staff presence on site, responding to resident and contractor requests as appropriate.

About you
It is essential that you have a strong awareness of Health and Safety issues and previous experience of cleaning/domestic duties.

You will work to quality standards and have a strong attention to detail.

Within the role, you will be required to be able to work as part of a team or alone depending on business requirements at the time. You will need to have a friendly, approachable nature and caring attitude and be able to use your own initiative.

As you'll be travelling across our sites you'll need to be adaptable and flexible, with a full driving licence and use of a private vehicle.
