Pertemps have a great permanent Crewing Officer role with a large ship management business based in Glasgow
This role will work in a dedicated crewing team and you will be responsible for the crewing and personnel management of ships in line with correct legislation and compliance
Main duties involve:
First point of contact for all personnel related queries
Accurately recording and maintaining all employee documentation, personnel files and certificates into relevant systems
Ensuring all employee files are compliant and in line with company policy
Manage the appraisal process
Delivery of company inductions
Dealing with disciplinaries, absences and rotas
Scheduling training courses
Attending crewing meetings and producing management information
You will ideally have similar experience within shipping/crewing and an understanding of shipping related legislation. You will be highly organised and able to work in an extremely high volume environment. You will also have excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
