Field Sales Manager - Peristeen South

Therapy Area: Peristeen - an irrigation system for people who suffer from faecal incontinence and constipation.

Role Type: Field Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and Nurse Manager - this role involves managing a sales team.

As the Field Sales Manager for Peristeen South , you will be responsible for the South of the UK.This is an exciting time to join, as the business goes through a period of growth that will drive market expansion and improve access to care for patients.

The position sits within the Continence Care division and reports into National Business Leader. This is a critical field role within the Peristeen team, to be successful in this role you will need clinical and commercial experience.The role has a heavy focus on developing, coaching and driving performance through the team.Additionally, this role will grow business through all commercial opportunities and deliver both revenue and profit returns.

Reporting to the National Business Leader, you will be accountable for:

Leading and Coaching the South Peristeen Advisor team

Provide field coaching support to some of the North Peristeen Advisor team as required

Conducting regular field visits. Supports driving performance and development of the team

Day to day management of the team, setting high ambitions, challenging, motivating and inspiring the team

Working with the National Business Leader, support and input into the Regional Business Plan and reporting, defining commercial priorities, setting targets, forecasting, planning and allocating resources

Engaging with customers and other stakeholders to drive sales and strong relationships with KOLs

Lead the monthly business reviews alongside the National Business Leader.

Stakeholder management that can impact the team (e.g. Nursing, BDMs, Payers and Trade)

Ensuring excellent territory planning and execution from the team

Support and input into the Regional team meetings and contribute to the facilitation of National Sales Meetings

Driving a culture of ownership and accountability - role modelling our values, ensuring strong sales execution and celebrating successes

Owning the People Cycle for the team, leading performance conversations and engagement action plans

Attend leadership meetings as required

Keeping updated on market knowledge and NHS Strategy

Support clinical service optimisation and the implementation of the patient journey.

Support the implementation of clinical projects within the NHS

Work in partnership with the National Business Leader

We are looking for someone that has experience of managing teams who work closely with the NHS.You will also need experience of working with clinical and commercial projects.Naturally a strong understanding of the NHS landscape is essential.Experience of working within the Medical Devices industry is not essential.

Qualifications

Essential: Degree or equivalent

Desirable: Nursing qualification with supplementary business or commercial degree

Person/Experience Required

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales manager from the healthcare industry - ideally with experience of leading a nurse team in a commercial setting. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the NHS landscape and how it affects local delivery of healthcare. You will also be an effective coach who is able to inspire and drive performance in others.
