Head of Tennis
Term Time only
A well-qualified graduate and outstanding tennis coach is required to take the leading role in the continued development of tennis as one of the School’s major sports for both girls and boys. The successful candidate would be a qualified level 3 Tennis coach and experienced in coaching and playing tennis at a high level.
The candidate will be an exemplary coach and be able to coach a second sport, ideally athletics, tennis or cricket. There is no requirement to teach academic PE. The Head of Tennis will be expected to contribute fully to the wider co-curricular and boarding life of the School. The role includes Saturday fixtures during term time, as well as pre-season training and tours both in the UK and overseas. During the School’s holidays, the Head of Tennis will work with children attending summer camps and sports camps, as required.
The School enjoys first class facilities, including: national standard athletics track, 2 hockey all-weather pitches (1 floodlit) and a 3G rugby training pitch; extensive playing fields; 25m 6-lane indoor pool; 10 floodlit tennis/netball courts, 12 golf nets; sports hall and purpose built fitness suite. New Hall has a strong reputation for sport, with students competing at county, regional and national level in a wide range of sports.
A competitive salary will be offered and will be pro-rated based on the hours worked.
