UK Financial, Planning & Analysis Associate - Ashford - Enterprise House
Monday - Friday, Up to GBP25000 basic salary, plus benefits.

The FP&A Associate will be directly responsible for production and analysis of short to medium term reports, providing insights into business performance, as well as supporting the completion of longer term Forecast/Planning processes, validation and target setting. Liaising with teams across the business to understand variances in key performance measures and manage processes and data flows.
Role context
Based in Ashford with possible travel across the UK when required.
Supporting the UK FP&A team in delivering transparent reporting, encouraging and facilitating the effective use of new software and processes.
Regular liaison with teams across the business, including commercial finance, operations and central.
4 timeframes of planning, reporting and analysis:
• Daily Sales analysis and reporting
• Weekly Flash forecasting for current month and rolling forecast.
• Monthly planning, full year forecast.
• 3/5 year strategic planning. Principal accountabilities
• Consolidation of Flash submissions and reconciling commentary to be delivered to the Exec team and Group on a weekly basis.
• Consolidation of weekly rolling forecast submissions.
• Accurate and timely production of reports at appropriate levels of detail for use across the business, including Daily Sales, Volumes, COGS and various other KPI reporting.
• Supporting month end processes and preparing monthly snapshot feeds into monthly management accounts.
• Supporting the preparation of forecasts and scenario planning.
• Maintaining a high level of data integrity for business planning and analysis.
• Support and facilitate project work, process improvement and effective use of new software.
• Managing timetabling and communications to wider finance teams and following up where necessary to ensure that deadlines are met so that tasks can be successfully completed.
• Focus on personal development.
• Ambassador for finance promoting cross functional collaboration and understanding. Knowledge, skills, experience and competencies
• Excellent commercial acumen and a good eye for detail, coupled with a strong academic background. Looking to train in CIMA or ACCA.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential in order to liaise effectively with those with both a finance and non-finance background.
• Is diligent, able to spot anomalies and question why. Able to use their initiative to follow enquires to a conclusion.
• Is proactive and has the enthusiasm and tenacity to strive for continuous improvement and added value.
• Confident inter-personal skills, with ability to business partner, influence and drive results.
• Organised and logical approach to challenges. Can see beyond the obvious and questions or challenges where necessary.
• Has the ability to prioritise and effectively manage different sources of information.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
