Net Developer
NRG are delighted to be working with an award-winning organisation to recruit a number of experienced Web Developers.
You will be supporting existing on-prem .NET applications and supporting in the development and migration of .NET and .NET Core applications to the Azure cloud platform.
The successful candidate should have at least 3 years commercial experience of .Net and specifically MVC, working on large-scale systems architecture and delivery. You must feel comfortable working autonomously, but also lead and manage developers within a team. You will join a large technology team, which is responsible for the delivery of a multi award-winning software platform.
This is a permanent role based in Newcastle upon Tyne with a salary of up to GBP40,000 depending on skills and experience.
Ideally, you should have most of the following programming knowledge:
* ASP.NET - VB.NET or C#
* .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC
* TSQL
* Microsoft Azure
* Microsoft SQL Server
* HTML5, CSS3
* JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
* Web applications
* Web services
* Relational databases
* Object orientated development techniques
Other skills should include:
* Analytical skills
* Ability to work within a team, as well as providing leadership to junior developers
* A professional attitude to work
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
