Senior Care Assistant - - Full Time Nights - 33 hours per week - up to GBP9.72 per hour - Castleford Lodge, WF10 5DF

Our Senior Care Assistants champion high quality care, compassion and resident dignity. You will work closely with a Registered Nurse or Deputy Manager and take on responsibility for the physical, emotional well-being and social needs of our residents. You will support and supervise a team of care staff, act as a role model delivering high quality care, and comply with clinical governance. Whilst it's not imperative that you have a Level 3 qualification in health and social care, you need to possess your Level 2 and have a desire to achieve your Level 3 via our career pathway.
You will be an ambassador of Orchard Care Homes, liaising with GPs, health professionals and the residents' families and friends, always promoting a professional and caring image of the home whilst championing our 6 core values, Enjoy Life, Welcoming, Kind, Professional, Positive and Respectful
Castleford Lodge is a mid-size home providing experienced care for elderly residents with a wide range of complex needs, including Dementia. The home benefits from landscaped gardens, which are pleasant and offer security for short walks and fresh air. Inside the home, the team encourage residents to get involved in visits from local schools and community groups, as well as relaxing in the communal bar and lounge rooms.
