An exciting opportunity has arisen working for a leading Housing Association for an experienced Specialist Coach in the Abingdon area. We are looking for someone who can deliver a high standard of support within housing services for vulnerable individuals. Suitable candidates will be from a supported housing background with a passion to deliver a first-class service.
Key duties of a Specialist Coach-
??Provide person centred care to support young people through there negative emotions and to encourage them to make positive choices
??Provide young people with essential skills to help them move on into independent accommodation
??Working in a psychologically and trauma informed way to promote young people's wellbeing
??Completing housing management tasks, for example managing ASB, rent account monitoring and property inspections
??Having a multi-agency approach and building relationships with partner agencies
What you need to be a Specialist Coach-
??Experience of working with young people who have multiple needs
??Be able to manage a caseload and be able to record accurate notes and paperwork
??Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant experience/qualification to the role
??Knowledge of assessing risks and support planning involving vulnerable adults, and to be able to create positive relationships
