We have three vacancies available: two cleaning operatives (one full-time and one part-time) and a grounds/waste cleansing operative (full-time).

As part of our service delivery team, you'll be there for our customers and your colleagues whenever they need you; big jobs, little jobs, all kinds of jobs. Your role will involve general waste removal and cleaning duties; this could be kitchen and bathroom cleaning, deep oven cleans or furniture removal and litter picking. And you'll be working in a variety of locations, including; colleague offices, customer homes (both empty and occupied) and communal areas, so you'll need to be comfortable and flexible to take on any challenge. You'll be working by yourself or as part of a team, with an expectation to carry out this work to a high standard, and in line with our rigorous specification of work, and health and safety regulations.

You'll make sure that all of our customers, schemes and our properties receive the highest levels of service, learning from experience when things don't always go to plan. We expect you to take responsibility for safeguarding; identifying and raising potential risks within our homes and communities.

This role will allow you to build strong relationships, make new friends and have a genuinely positive impact on the lives of thousands of people.

As a cleaning operative with us, we want you to have:

Cleaning experience, industrial, commercial and household
Ideally, some experience of working within the social housing sector
A good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements
Experience using specialist cleaning machinery and equipment
Basic IT knowledge and using mobile devices (training to be provided)
Experience in a customer-facing environment
The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Full, clean driving licence.This role is based from our Chipping Sodbury office (BS37 6JX) and will involve extensive travel to and from the surrounding areas.

Your previous experience may be in roles as a cleaner, domestic cleaner, cleaning operative, commercial cleaner, waste operative, waste cleansing operative, amongst others.
