Claims Handlers Required
Job Description
Our Client based in Alton Hampshire are looking for Claim's Handlers to support the pro-active and accurate processing of domestic household and commercial property claims. You will be responsible to manage the claim throughout its life-cycle ensuring that all parties are kept informed of progress.
Salary & Benefits
* GBP20,000 per annum
* Monday - Friday, 35 hours a week, working across 8am -8pm (Possibly 1 Saturday morning required every couple of months)
* 25 days holidays + Bank holidays
* Free parking, Pension.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Take reports of new claims from insurance companies, loss adjusters, restoration professionals and allocate the claim to a restoration technician
* Manage the life-cycle of the claim liaising with all relevant parties
* Answer and manage all calls in an efficient professional manner
* Provide support to technicians and all colleagues
* Updating all online systems ensuring processing deadlines are met consistently
* Identify and handle complaints escalate where necessary
* Develop technical knowledge in order to support technicians and insurance companies
Skills and Requirements
* Knowledge or experience of claims beneficial, however, Customer facing/office environment considered.
* Highly attentive/organised and can prioritise work load
* Ability to handle and manage complex situations
* Excellent problem solving abilities
* Ability to manage own workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Strong relationship building skills
* Ability to empathise, being tactful when dealing with customers who could be distraught or concerned following an incident
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
