Custom Installer Engineer
My Clients (based in Aberdeen) are looking for an Audio Visual and Control System Installation & Commissioning Engineer.
The role will include Pre-wire, Installation, Commissioning, Documentation and Maintenance of high end audio visual and "smart" control systems.
The successful candidate will have:
* Good written and verbal communication skills (the ability to communicate with and assist the end user in a non-technical way)
* Ability to work alone or in a group
* Willingness to share out of hours client support rota and occasionally work away from home
* Keen eye for detail, ensuring high standards
* Experience with (or at least an Understanding of) Audio Visual Equipment and technologies
* The ability to read, understand and work to schematics and installation plans
* Good Fault finding skills
* Experience with IT and networking
* An understanding of electrical systems, and building regulations
* A clean Driving Licence
The successful candidate will either be skilled at or show the necessary aptitude and capability to quickly learn and become proficient in:
* Programming of Control systems
* Network infrastructure installation, commissioning and testing
The successful candidate will be required to undertake training from our manufacturer partners including, Bang & Olufsen, Control4, Lutron and our industry association CEDIA.
