Joshua Robert Recruitment is currently representing a nationwide property organisation with a mixed and significant portfolio consisting of both commercial and residential property. The business is recruiting currently despite the current covid-19 pandemic for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor on a permanent basis. The role is primarily focused on residential properties.
The role itself will be responsible for conducting Type 1 and Type 2 Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments, then the production of reports and recommendations. You will ensure that all buildings confirm to building regulations and technical standards. More broadly it's important you are able to assist in delivering Health and Safety support to meet the needs of wider business. It's important you're willing and able to support with all Fire, Health & Safety enquiries and maintain service standards.
The successful candidate will have NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health & FPA Certificate in Applied Fire Risk Assessment and/or NEBOSH Fire. It's important that you have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of relevant Statutory Legislation, ACoP's and British Standards, Approved Documents etc. An understanding of fire dynamics, heat transfer and smoke behaviour principles and experience in conducting in-depth Type 1 and Type 2 Fire Risk Assessment.
