The Role
Nelson Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for 3 Machine Shop Operatives for their client based in Nechells/Aston Birmingham.
The role is temporary, potentially leading to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
The hours of work are:
- Monday to Thursday (Apply online only)
- Friday (Apply online only) (TBC).
Job Description/Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Operating a double headed cut-back saw machine.
- Working with Aluminium tubes.
- Bending aluminum - using machinery
- Working to drawing specifications.
- Measuring correct lengths and widths for client orders.
- Quality checking.
- Working to tight deadlines / meeting KPI's.
You will be working for a tier 1 supplier, known across the UK
Job Requirements
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in working within a factory is essential.
- Cutback saw machine operating is essential.
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- This role will ideally suit someone with experience in factory machine operating with experience working with aluminium (bending and cutting), CNC operating, working with drawings and manual handling/quality control.
-You will have to work as part of a team.
- You will be responsible for managing own workload.
