Success Recruit are currently working with a Global Distributor within the construction industry who are seeking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer to join their growing and well-established operations based in Central Essex.
The successful and newly created position for the IT Systems Engineer will be an integral part of the operations structure and support with growth and development of the business and be responsible for the digital transformation.
The successful IT Systems Engineer will be expected to:
* Have previously supported with a digital transformation project in their career
* Be confident analysing business processes & improvement
* Experienced within performance testing and project management
* Coding languages to include: Java Script, Python, X++, Java, SQL

Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The Systems Engineer will work closely with the Supply Chain Operations Manager to ensure all IT projects and improvements are made within time scales and budgets to allow this rapidly growing business the maximum opportunity to develop and hit company goals. It is a newly created position due to company growth and will suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, one that can make decisions, be accountable and have strong IT knowledge to support with all the changes required.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Support with all development projects
* Review and implement IT improvements consistently
* Manage the entire digital transformation for the business
* Review IT infrastructure & make changes
* Maintain & performance analysis
* Support with aspects of IT Architecture, development, maintenance, testing, fixing, support, secure and redesign of both software and hardware IT infrastructure
* Training staff on best practices and ensuring maintenance of cyber security
* Manage the ERP system
* Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI is a great bonus
The successful Systems Engineer will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge using:
* Microsoft Suite including office 365
* Dynamics ERP
* Azure Active Directory
* API Administration and performance testing
* EDI Administration and performance testing
* Project Design, implementation, and Integration
* Business Process Management
* Storage Solutions
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 8AM to 4.30PM
Salary:
Circa GBP30k+ dependant on experience
