HGV Class 1 Driver

Challenge-trg are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for the Pontefract, Normanton and Wakefield Distribution Centres.

We have vacancies for HGV Class 1 drivers across Numerous sites.

Contract 1:

• Ongoing.
• Monday to Friday shift pattern - Days and Nights.
• Trunking - Trailer swaps - Reverse on bay.
• Challenge Transport and Distribution Units. (Our own vehicles)
• Guaranteed minimum shift lengths.
• Weekly pay.
• Accommodating PAYE and LTD HGV Class 1 Drivers.
• Paid assessments.

Pay rates for the HGV Class 1 driver - up to GBP16 p/h

Contract 2:

• Ongoing.
• 7 day coverage required - Days, Nights, Weekends and Ad-Hoc.
• Store deliveries.
• Overtime rate available depending on shift lengths.
• Guaranteed minimum shift lengths.
• Accommodating PAYE and LTD HGV Class 1 drivers.
• Pay rates for the HGV Class 1 driver - Up to GBP18 p/h

The Requirements from the Class 1 HGV Driver

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• A good geographic knowledge of the UK road network
