My client, a market leading Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their specialist Water Team based in Leicester.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling using Infoworks ICM or Tuflow or XP SWMM.
It is beneficial for applicants to have experience writing Flood Risk Assessments.
This exciting role will offer you the chance to join a friendly and supportive Team in Leicester. You will be supported and trained to complete varied Residential, Commercial, Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients.
As a Hydraulic Modeller you will be required to complete the following;
Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
Flood Estimation using FEH.
Surface Water and Catchment Management Plans.
Flood Mapping using ArcGIS.
Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow, Infoworks ICM and XPSWMM for developments.
The specialist team will offer you training and support in the office and via Microsoft Teams.
You will will have the option to work from home initially and then from the Leicester Office.
