QA Team Leader
Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps is currently working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business based in the outer skirts of Lincoln, recruiting for a QA Team Leader to join their friendly team.
You will be required to work as part of a team displaying confidence in own abilities and judgements, with responsibility for ensuring quality of products leaving site conforms with the specifications laid down by the customer.
The successful candidate for the QA Team Leader position will also be required to provide support for the QA Manager, with coaching/direction for the QA team members to drive continuous performance improvement.
Day to day tasks include but not limited to
Lead on all Quality functions
Ensure that the packed stock meets the required specification
Be actively involved in the development and implementation of (LEAN)
Be able to carry out QA functions fully in all aspects of the department
Assessment of additional samples supplied for quality standards.
Monitor and manage shelf life deterioration ,reporting of quality issues
To assist with preparation of the site for audits both internal and external
To secure samples for microbiological, chemical and nutritional analysis as required using the appropriate laboratory logging system
QA Team Leader Skills and experience
Good communications skills with a 'positive' approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate an ability to work in effective teams
Display a 'can do' attitude using initiative to act on opportunities the role will provide.
Have the ability to motivate, innovate and anticipate
To have integrity, be diplomatic and impartial.
Interviews for this role are to take place immediately, with an immediate start for the right calibre of candidate/s
The hours of work are 06.00 to 18.00 on the following shift pattern -
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday and Thursday
The pay for the QA Team Leader role is GBP11.67ph
This is a temporary to permanent role.
This role is ideal for candidates residing in Lincoln, Branston, Woodhall Spa, Conningsby, Wragby, Sleaford, Boston, Saxilby, Newark, Market Rasen, Horncastle & other areas close to these.
