Smart Solutions are working with an award winning manufacturer based in Swansea who are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. You will be undertaking all required inspections and quality record confirmations to assure the quality of materials entering and products leaving the factory.
Duties of the Quality Inspector will include:
- Performing incoming inspection of materials to confirm items received comply with drawings
- Checking Certificates of Conformity on incoming deliveries
- Verification of supplier test reports
- Undertaking patrol inspections of product quality throughout the assembly and packaging operation
Experience required for the Quality Inspector:
- Background in engineering, manufacturing or quality
- Knowledge of inspection and testing activities in an electro-mechanical industry
- General understanding of Process Control Documents (Flow Charts, Control Plans, Work Instructions and Check Sheets)
- Experience in the control of non-conforming products
Hours: Working on a 2 shift rota (Mornings 6am to 2pm then Afternoons 2pm to 11pm (6pm Fridays))
