Compass Point Recruitment is excited to be working with an established Colour Sampling business based in Ipswich in their search for a Sales Manager ideally with industry experience working in Decorative Paint, Fabrics or Wallpaper. Reporting directly into the Sales Director, you will be working closely in bringing positive business changes within the Sales Department.
This is fantastic time to be joining a business entering into a long term period of growth & development. They are keen to recruit someone who can drive their brand and support the values of the company whilst nurturing a number of high profile existing clients.
This is a newly created role within the business, so the ideal person will be a confident and concise communicator who is able to liaise with the Senior Management Team as well as the Manufacturing Teams. You will be responsible for maximizing business potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the senior management.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Account Management for existing clients
•Business Development activities and driving the business to be sales focused
•Setting up prospective clients and attending visits to win new business
•Taking customer briefs & providing quotations
•Supporting the business with the implementation of a new CRM System
Essential Attributes:
•Industry/Market Knowledge Decorative Paint, Fabrics or Wallpaper Helpful but not essential
•Proven experience in professionally representing a brand
•Professional approach with the ability to communicate at all levels
•Ability to drive cultural change and contribute towards positive staff morale
•Tenacious attitude and proven ability to work both short and long lead times
•Experience dealing with conflict resolution and problem solving
•Meets our and maintains our Core Values.
Additional Information:
•Monday to Friday Full Time
•Salary Circa GBP30,000
•25 days + 8 days annual leave
•Plus 5 days unpaid leave (as required for 1 off)
•Discretionary bonus scheme
•Individual Cash Incentivized Reward Scheme
•Parking available at site
