IML Trainee Operator / Setter

A well-established medium sized manufacturing company based in Washington is looking for an IML Trainee Operator / Setter to join its team. This role requires someone who is able to work 12 hour shifts alternating days and nights 6.30am - 18.30pm & 18.30pm -6.30am, operating two 36 hour and two 48 hour weeks in every 28 days. The company have a growing product base which is supplied to various retailers throughout the UK and are the largest independent company in its field.
Working as part of the ILM team your duties will include:
* Working in accordance with the company's health and safety and manufacturing practice
* Operate machine in a safe manner
* Diagnose and correct running faults in a timely manner once fully trained to do so.
* Maintain machine efficiencies and minimise the amount of scrap product
* Ensure machines are maintained to the highest hygiene level
* Take a full active part in all aspects of training
The successful IML Operator will have the following skills and experience:
* Must have experience within an injection moulding environment
* Must be available to work 2 shift patterns
* Have a flexible attitude toward detailed training programme
