Currently seeking a high level security cleared SharePoint Migration Consultant, to assist my client with w contract opportunity based on site at their offices in Newcastle.

Due to the sensitive nature of the project you could potentially be working on, my client have advised that successful candidates must hold highest level security clearance for this opportunity.

We have an opportunity for a Sharepoint migration Subject Matter Expert, who will be responsible for developing designing and performing data migrations from group file share and MOSS to repositories including SharePoint On line, Sharepoint On Prem, HP Records manager and on-prem NTFS file shares.

The ideal candidate will have complete knowledge of thearchitectural design of SharePoint farms, administration, development, troubleshooting, technical support, implementation and customization of SharePoint sites will have demonstrated capability of working in a high-pressure security conscience environment

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leads and direct others in a small team performing migration activities
  • Performing pre-migration preparation activities and checks
  • Performing post-migration activities and reporting
  • Performing any remediation activities required
  • Ensuring all audit trails are maintained accurately
  • Ensuring engineers are trained to a high standard for performing migration activities
  • Being an escalation point for migration engineers
  • Document work done and for others to follow/implement whilst following common Change processes.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience/ability in the below in the below:

  • SharePoint Administration
  • HP Records Manager
  • NTFS File Storage & Permissions
  • PowerShell
  • SQL
  • Ability to follow process in an ITIL workplace

Personal attributes that will be useful include:

  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
  • Flexible
  • Self-motivated

Knowledge/ability in the below would be advantageous, but is not essential:

  • DocAve Software Platform
  • HPRM
  • Meridio Records Management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft OS's
  • Organised and methodical
  • Ability to communicate at high levels on a regular basis
