Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is delighted to be working alongside this well-established manufacturing company, in their search for a Buyer and Stores Manager.

The position will call upon your previous buying experience, including sourcing and maintaining a well-stocked store within strict general and project timescales. Due to the different "hats" required in this role, you'll need to be able to handle several ongoing projects and keep a close eye on the scheduling / delivery dates and times.

Suppliers are internationally based, so the ability to efficiently manage numerous accounts with different date lines and shipping times are a must.

Experience / key skills:

* 5+ years of experience with buying/purchasing environment

* CIPS qualification or progress towards would be advantageous

* Microsoft applications experience to including Word, Excel, Outlook

* First class record and diary keeper for activity tracking

* Excellent communication skills via e-mail and by phone

* Enthusiastic, polite and focused at all times with internal colleagues and external contacts

* Ready and willing to get involved in the workshop environment and become a valued team member.

* Due to the nature of the role, you'll need to have a good standard of physical fitness as some lifting and carrying will be required.

Additional details:

* Monday to Friday

* 8.30am to 5pm

* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
