Priority Response Officer (Inbound Call Centre)

Hertfordshire

This is an inbound call centre role where you will be responsible for dealing with faults on the Hertfordshire maintained highway which are classified as requiring an Emergency Response. Taking calls from the Emergency services and logging them in the Confirm system, picking up faults logged by members of the Public and Customer Service Centre online via the Confirm system. Creating Jobs in Confirm which need to be dealt with as an Emergency and passing them electronically and verbally to the appropriate Operatives working on the Network.

Reclassifying faults which have not been automatically prioritised by the system and assigning them correctly.
Taking calls from the Streetwork Team over unsafe sites, logging them and passing out to the appropriate Operatives to rectify.

You will be Responsible for:

* Taking inbound calls, logging the fault on the system dispatching the relevant team to fix.
* To ensure that faults are dealt with in a timely manner, recorded and passed out efficiently.
* Ensuring that Jobs are dealt with in the required time scale so that the Hertfordshire road network is safe for the users.
* Maintaining a good level of service
* Logging fault's on the excel spreadsheet

The successful candidate will have:

* Good communication skills. Being able to work to deadlines. Able to work well with others.
* Ability to learn quickly.
* Excel, Work and Outlook is used.
* Use of Pitney Bowes Confirm system is desirable - training will be given
* Use of Causeway Project Accounting for scheduling is desirable - training will be given
* Good phone manner and communication skills is essential, being able to communicate to a wide range of staff and operatives.

The role will be working in a Team of 2 reporting to the Team Leader - 3 people in total make up the immediate Team.

Requirement for working a 1 in 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday.
1 - 06:30 to 15:30
2 - 07:30 to 16:30
3 - 08:30 to 17:30
the above includes a 1 hour lunch break.
