Site Buyer - (Procurement/Purchasing)

Outsource UK are currently seeking a Site Buyer/Purchasing Analyst for a 6 month rolling contract based in Peterbourough.

Key Responsibilities

• Looking after purchase orders, raising them and relating to production engines
• Raising requests for supplier tooling
• Processing intercompany purchase orders for engines
• Documenting the process and following it through
• Resolving root cause analysis in a timely manner
• Responsible for a certain set of suppliers
• Making sure the new parts are in releasing process and associating RFQ packages and quotes and reviewing them
• Analytical duties - agreement coverage in place and coordinating activity and reporting on status
• Support other buyers on an adhoc basis

Essential Skills

• Procurement and purchasing background
• Good background in procurement
• Understand the processing within a purchase environment
• Previously worked in manufacturing/engineering industry
• Good communication skills
• Able to liaise with managers and clients/buyers
• Analytical skills - able to use purchasing systems/CRMS
