Working for a strategic energy management business. Founded in 2012, the business brings together in-house expertise and the latest industry and technological innovations to deliver integrated systems and solutions for better energy management and procurement.
Role Purpose:
To manage prepare and place energy and water contracts for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure the basics of energy procurement and management are in place
* Updating records on inhouse computer systems
* Managing own workload to hit client expectations as agreed with Account Manager
* Negotiating prices with suppliers by phone and e-mail
* Gathering data, including quotations, from various sources needed to place contracts
* Accurately record contracts placed
* Confirming supplies have moved supplier on the contracted date
* Resolving supplier objections
* Managing supplier complaints where disputes arise
Skills, know-how and experience required:
* A knowledge in Fixed and Flex procurement
* General working knowledge of the energy industry is essential
* Experience tendering water and MOP contracts a plus
* Previous experience of creating and using spreadsheets
* Exposure to working with corporate clients
* Problem solving skills
* Time management skills
* Clerical experience
* Strong written and verbal communication Skills
* Strong numeracy skills
Remuneration & Benefits:
* Competitive salary
* 40 hour working week - Monday to Friday
* 20 days holiday (incremental annual increase of one day per year up to 25 days)
