JOB- Process Engineer
LOCATION- Hampshire
TERM- FTC 2 years
SALARY- GBP38,000 - GBP50,000 per annum dependent on experience (plus benefits)
My client works within manufacturing, and they are looking to take on a Process Engineer (FMCG, Food, Pharma, Chemical) on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.
The Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
LOCATION- Hampshire
TERM- FTC 2 years
SALARY- GBP38,000 - GBP50,000 per annum dependent on experience (plus benefits)
My client works within manufacturing, and they are looking to take on a Process Engineer (FMCG, Food, Pharma, Chemical) on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.
The Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- NVQ / HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering or be QBE
- 3 or more years' experience working in a similar position involving lean manufacturing tools (continuous improvement skills are essential/ process improvement) within a production environment
- Have worked in either the FMCG, Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industry - this is essential
- Have working knowledge of GMP or pharmaceutical regulations ideally
- Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have an appreciation for Health & Safety / IOSH qualification
- Green Belt Qualification or higher would be desirable but not essential
- Working within the Engineering team
- Driving improvements in overall performance in the manufacturing departments
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Investigating any problems or deviations in a timely manner related to quality / manufacturing
- Identifying waste in current processes and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Working with the Project Engineers to ensure expenditure delivers expected ROI
- Using Kaizen activities to deliver resolutions to problems
- Being involved with Health & Safety - any changes that are put in place should have risk assessments done
- Promoting safe working through coaching other staff members
