An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in Exeter, is looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their firm.

The Chartered Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer will work within a highly experienced team of 15 engineers who are spread throughout various UK office locations. The company is currently in a rapid growth phase and is looking to triple its engineering capacity over the next 4 years. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of post-chartership experience and will be looking to manage their own team within the coming years.

You will have a good understanding and experience of Commercial insurance reporting. Experience of being an expert witness would also be beneficial.

The majority of the role is focused on surveying and reporting of fire and flood damaged commercial properties, design is also a feature of the role.

The Person

The Structural Engineer will have

• Chartered - ICE / IstructE
• 2+ years post chartership experience
• Commercial insurance experience
• Reporting experience
• Expert witness is beneficial
• Ambition to drive the business forward
