The Symphony Group is looking to recruit a Transport Compliance Manager to join their existing Transport team in Barnsley. This is a permanent, full-time role from Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. A competitive salary will be offered in return for the right candidate with experience.

This Transport Compliance Manager role is the ideal opportunity for someone with existing transport and vehicle management experience looking for a new challenge.

You must be based in or around the Barnsley area and working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, however, the role will require you to be available outside of standard working hours as required.

As Transport Compliance Manager you will be required to manage a fleet of over 150 vehicles and associated equipment.

The key responsibilities of the Transport Compliance Manager role will include:

- Dealing with legal compliance, tachograph rules, tracking systems and drivers' infringements.

- Managing all aspects of our Operator licence.

- Taking appropriate action against any infringements.

- Ensuring transport operations meet all relevant transport and health and safety legislation.

- Ensuring accidents and incidents are fully investigated and reported.

- Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance and scheduling

- Manage FORS compliance.

- Delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

In order to be successful in the Transport Compliance Manager role you must have:

- National CPC.

- Working knowledge of transport and driver regulations.

- Experience in compliance management.

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar management role.

- FORS management experience.

- Tachomaster knowledge.

- A full UK driving licence.

- A high level of customer service.

- A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organisational skills.
