About The Role

Location: Brackley

As a Document Controller we'll need you to support with establishing and maintaining the agreed document management and filing systems. Your daily tasks will include uploading of documents to electronic DMS within the agreed timescale or sooner if requested.
Checking the information on receipt for compliance with document control protocols is a key part of this role. We'd also like you to track all incoming and outgoing project documentation and issuing document transmittals. Issuing documents and information via electronic DMS as directed.

Provide cover for the Lead Document Controller as required for the receipt and upload of design deliverables and resolve any queries with the project team and supply chain.
You'll also need to support in the co-ordination of handover documentation timely and to 'right first time' standard and provide cover and support for other members of the team as requested.

Work as a collaborative member of the Kier team - facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice to the wider Kier team. Provide training, guidance and support to all EKFB staff and Supply Chain on document management conventions and procedure. Share the documents with the respective teams according to authorities set.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
Whilst we welcome applicants who have experience within a similar role full training will be given.
Confident IT skills multiple system are used i.e. EB, MS Office, Web Browsers, BIMExtra,
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
Must be an excellent organiser with proven time management skills.
