Animal Care - Technician
Salary: £16,823 to £16,968 per annum (Scale 2)
Location: Cannington Campus, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA5 2LS
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dynamic Technician to support the animal collections based at the Cannington Campus.
The role will include the day-to-day maintenance and care of the animal collection. The successful candidate will be experienced in carrying out husbandry tasks for exotic and domestic animals, including maintenance and development of enclosures and paddocks. Knowledge of the daily management of a diverse animal collection is essential along with a good knowledge of current animal welfare legislation. Experience with record keeping, basic IT skills together with a clean driving license would be advantageous.
