The company
Ganymede Energy are working in partnership with the global energy supplier Eon to provide a nationwide heating installation workforce. Eon are one of the largest energy suppliers within the UK and are now growing and expanding their portfolio of customers across the domestic gas heating industry and are looking to become one of the market leaders within the heating installation industry.
The Role
Working for Ganymede Energy, you will be installing new central heating installations within domestic properties on behalf of Eon.
You will be working within an hour of your local geographical region, although from time to time flexibility will be required to meet the business needs if deemed safe and practicable.
You will be carrying out a mixture of boiler swaps, conversions and full central heating installs across Eon's private homeowners and Eco schemes.
Work will be pre-planned and electronically scheduled using a touch pad system.
All installs have been pre-surveyed by Eon and our in house teams.
Full heating pack is supplied and will be collected from the local merchants.
Where necessary, Eon and our inhouse electricians will be provided for electrical requirements.
You will be working Monday to Friday working a 37.5 hour working week.
Overtime may be available from time to time over weekends dependent on Eon's requirements.
No call out rota, or standby, no planned weekend working.
The Engineer
Minimum qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, Unvented.
You must have previous experience working as a domestic gas installation engineer.
You must be safety conscious with a focus on providing excellent workmanship and customer service You must hold a full valid driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
The Package
Basic salary equivalent of GBP35,000 p/a Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hour working week
Over time rate: time & half (weekend work only. Hours outside of your core working hours will be paid at your basic salary hourly rate)
GBP2000 performance bonus to be paid yearly
No callout/standby rota
Realistic OTE GBP37-40k
Van, fuel card, uniform, PPE, tooling equipment, Handheld unit. Mobile phone all provided. Auto enrolment pension scheme
Statutory sick pay Statutory maternity and paternity pay, shared paternal pay and adoption pay
