Job title: Abattoir Operatives
Location: Dudley (Kingswinford)
Hours: 04:45 - until finish Monday to Friday (8 - 10 hours working days)
Pay Rate: Competitive rates of pay
Thomas Recruitment are currently recruiting for Abattoir Operatives for a leading Slaughterhouse company based in Kingswinford.
This is an amazing Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidates.
Day to day duties will include the following:
* Dressing and evisceration of Lamb, Sheep & Mutton
* Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive
* Piece work
* Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* MUST have experience working with Lamb, Mutton or Beef/Pork
* Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
* Previous experience working with Lamb, Mutton, or Beef/Pork - PREFERRED
* Strong communication, task management skills
* Flexible approach to work
* Must be able to work all bank holidays (Excluding Christmas day, Boxing day & New Year's Day)
* Own transport due to location
* Commutable From: Wombourne, Kingswinford, Himley, Dudley, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Kidderminster, Telford, Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, West Midlands, Staffordshire
