Sales and Operations Manager
Working on behalf of a North East London based company, we are recruiting for a Sales and Operations Manager. This role is to compliment the current operation. Our client recycles construction waste to produce aggregate to go back out into working sites throughout London, South East and Essex areas.
Salary: GBP30,000+ Dependent upon experience
Job Title: Sales and Operations Manager
Role:
Preferably coming from an aggregates, waste or landfill background, we are looking for someone with drive and determination to take the business further. You will oversee the day to day running of the site operation while also pushing sales of the end product.
You will:
- Use your industry knowledge and contacts to push sales of aggregates to the groundwork's, civil engineering and construction industries in and around the region.
- Develop the existing database of clients.
- Be the link between production and logistics, ensuring deliveries are made on time.
- Promote a safety culture within the workplace.
- Liaise with the engineering department to ensure maintenance and maintenance schedules are up to date and to the highest standards.
- Regularly hold meetings with site staff to establish KPIs in line with orders.
Your day to day duties will include managing staff, taking orders, identifying and converting new clients, assisting in the logistics function, promoting a positive safety culture on site
